In 2010, two courageous New Jersey college students spoke out for equal rights—with a 33-hour kiss. Matty and Bobby, both boy-next-door sweeties, had their hearts and lips set on “queering the Guinness Book of World Records” with the longest continuous kiss to become the first gay record holders in the category. Strict rules (no sitting, no breaks, no solid food, no diapers) made their challenge physically grueling and mentally demanding.
