Patty Schemel, drummer for the influential rock band Hole, is an out lesbian who was at the center of the Seattle music scene in the 1990s. Growing up in Marysville, WA, Patty never dreamed that one day she’d make the cover of Rolling Stone, much less come out in the pages of the magazine.
