Director Tom Tykwer (RUN LOLA RUN) creates a stylish, witty story of a married man and woman who fall in love with the same man. Accomplished Berlin professionals Hanna and Simon have been together for 20 years. One night at the theater, Hanna meets Adam and feels a spark, which builds through subsequent random encounters. Meanwhile, Simon has his own chance meeting with Adam during an evening swim and becomes similarly attracted. Both affairs develop without Adam realizing his lovers are married to each other, until a twist of events confronts all three in this modern tale of infidelity and identity.
